Claudia y sus juguetes. Álbum ilustrado infantil

Abstract

[ES] En el presente trabajo se pretende dar a conocer el síndrome de Pendred a los lectores infantiles a través de un álbum ilustrado que explica diferentes situaciones de la vida de una persona de mi entorno familiar con esta defi-ciencia auditiva. En el álbum se desarrollan ilustraciones y textos adaptados para que los niños y niñas conozcan este tipo de problemática de una manera lúdica, divertida y normalizadora. Antes de nada, se hace un recorrido teórico acerca de la ilustración como técnica pictórica, para diferenciar después los conceptos de libro ilustrado y álbum ilustrado. Posteriormente se hace breve recorrido histórico desde los inicios del álbum ilustrado hasta la actualidad, nombrando algunas obras y autores que consideramos han sentado las bases de esta tipología textual tal y como la conocemos hoy en día. Por último, veremos reflejado el proceso del trabajo del álbum ilustrado creado, titulado ¿Claudia y sus juguetes¿; desde su planteamiento, pasando por la creación del nombre, el storyboard, los textos, el diseño de personajes y escenarios y el diseño editorial en su conjunto, hasta la producción de las artes finales.

[EN] In this work we intend to introduce Pendred¿s Syndrome to young readers through an illustrated album. It explains the different situations in the life of a family member of mine who suffers from this hearing loss. In this way, the album shows adapted illustrations and texts that will allow young readers to get to know this kind of disorder in a ludic, funny and normalised way. First of all, there is a theoretical tour about illustration as a pictorial techni-que, to differentiate the concepts of illustrated book and illustrated álbum later. Subsequently, a brief historical tour is made from the beginnings of the illustrated album to the present day, naming some works and authors that we consider have laid the foundations of this textual typology as we know it to-day. Finally, we will see reflected the work process of the illustrated album created, entitled ¿Claudia y sus juguetes¿; from its approach, through the creation of the name, the stoyboard, the texts, the design of characters and settings and the editorial design as a whole, to the production of the final works.
