ESTUDIO TÉCNICO Y PROCESO DE INTERVENCIÓN DE UNA PINTURA MURAL DE ANTONIO CABALLER SEGURA EN VALENCIA

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo final de grado se realiza el análisis de una pintura mural de finales del siglo XX realizada por el artista Antonio Caballer Segura, originario de Godella (Valencia). La pintura está situada en una vivienda particular ubicada en la ciudad de Valencia, en concreto en la zona de El Ensanche. La pintura se localiza sobre una de las paredes del cuarto de baño principal. De característica clásica, realizada con una técnica al seco de gran impermeabilidad y afinidad al agua, muestran un fondo suavizado mediante la superposición de veladuras, con posteriores trazos remarcando la sinuosidad de las figuras. Mediante los análisis realizados y la búsqueda de información, se ha determinado la técnica pictórica y se han realizado mapas de daños con las diversas patologías que presenta la pintura, en su mayoría derivadas de su ubicación y de la acción directa del agua sobre ellas. Asimismo se ha llevado a cabo la restauración de las pinturas tras la eliminación de la bañera que estaba situada delante de la pintura.

[EN] In this final degree work, the analysis of a mural painting from the end of the 20th century is carried out by the artist Antonio Caballer Segura, originally from Godella (Valencia). The painting is located in a private home located in the city of Valencia, specifically in the area of ​​El Ensanche. The painting is located on one of the walls of the main bathroom. With a classic characteristic, carried out with a dry technique of great impermeability and affinity to water, they show a softened bottom by overlapping glazes, with subsequent strokes highlighting the sinuousness of the figures. Through the analyzes performed and the search for information, the pictorial technique has been determined and damage maps have been made with the various pathologies that the painting presents, mostly derived from its location and the direct action of water on them. It has also carried out the restoration of the paintings after the removal of the bathtub that was located in front of the paint.
