EL CAMÍ REAL.FOTOGRAFÍA Y VIDEO-DOCUMENTAL SOBRE LA MEMORIA Y EL PASO DEL TIEMPO EN EL ENTORNO URBANO

Abstract

[ES] En este Trabajo Final de Grado (TFG) presentamos una producción artística en la cual se busca un tratamiento alternativo de las imágenes a través de la fotografía y el video-documental. La pretensión principal del conjunto de obras es reflejar el paso del tiempo en el entorno urbano, centrándonos en una calle concreta: El Camí Real de Sagunt, la calle principal del municipio donde se han encontrado siempre los principales comercios. Para ello, nos basamos en la búsqueda de material histórico-fotográfico, apelando a la memoria colectiva e investigando sobre las relaciones que se establecen entre el continuo cambio de la sociedad y sus necesidades con la globalización y como esto, termina reflejándose directamente en los espacios que transitamos. Todo desde una mirada personal, partiendo de un espacio cercano, y a través de una base referencial, gracias a artistas y filósofos que, mediante su trabajo, han tratado el recuerdo, la memoria colectiva y la evolución de la sociedad en la ciudad contemporánea. El objetivo principal de este documento será hablar sobre el contexto en el que se enmarca la obra realizada, y para ello, se estudiarán las relaciones que se establecen con sus principales referentes tanto teóricos como plásticos.

[EN] This Final Degree Project (TFG) presents an artistic production based on an alternative treatment of the photographic images and video- documentary. The main intention of the set of works is to reflect the passage of time in the urban environment, focusing on a specific street: El Camí Real de Sagunt, the main street of the town where the principal shops have always been found. To do so, we based our work on the search for historical and photographic material, appealing to the collective memory and investigating the relationships that are established between the continuous change of society and its needs because of the globalization and how this is reflected in the spaces we transit. Talking from a personal perspective, starting from a nearby space, and through a reference base, thanks to artists and philosophers who, through their work, have dealt with memory, collective memory and the evolution of society in the contemporary city. The main objective of this document will be to talk about the context in which the work produced is framed, and to do so, the relations established with its main theoretical and plastic references will be studied.
