dc.description.abstract | [EN] The ferromagnetic resonance, FMR, of two different Co based glass-coated amorphous microwires about 10 mum in diameter with large and vanishing magnetostriction, respectively, has been investigated from power absorption measurements in the microwave frequency range. The experimental technique employed consists of the replacement of the dielectric in a coaxial transmission line by the sample to be measured. The ferromagnetic resonance frequency is evaluated through the minimum of the square scattering parameter, /S-11/(2), or alternatively by the maximum of the real parr of incremental S-11 parameter or by the zero-crossing of its imaginary part. A study is also done on the influence of an applied static magnetic field on the FMR Frequency. The real and imaginary components of S-11 parameter are analysed to correlate the experimental result with the theoretical prediction. As expected, the peak of the absorbed power caused by FMR has a Lorentzian shape. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. | es_ES |
