[EN] In this TFM, an injection and admission support of a Shell eco-marathon vehicle is analysed for
its topological optimization, in the process the assembly is simplified so that it is a single piece
that will be manufactured through a laser addition method. In this way, a geometry focused on
saving weight and material can be obtained and avoiding the design restrictions that
manufacturing through machining entails.
The TFM is structured in four well-defined parts: Introduction, Preparation of the parts,
Processing of the part and Optimization, Final part and finally Conclusions.
In the first point, the TFM is delimited by listing its conditions and characteristics, and images of
the engine and the old injection and intake support are provided. The second and third points
focus on the preparation of the injection and intake support used until now to transform it into
a single piece, to which a topological analysis is carried out. In the fourth point, a new design is
made based on the results of the topological analysis, and in the last point, a static, modal and
harmonic study of the piece is carried out again to analyse if it is valid.
