RENOVACIÓN DE LA INFRAESTRUCTURA DE TECNOLOGÍA DE LA INFORMACIÓN DE UNA EMPRESA MEDIANTE VIRTUALIZACIÓN

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto se basa en la renovación de la infraestructura de tecnología de la información (IT) de una empresa empleando la virtualización como solución para ello, con el fin de servir de ejemplo a seguir en estos procesos. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se ha partido de los requisitos y condiciones de un cliente real por lo que toda la evolución de este será dependiente a dichos requerimientos. Se realizarán los pasos más característicos en un proceso de renovación: Se partirá de una auditoria para comprobar la infraestructura actual, y valorar los diferentes puntos de mejora, tanto físicos como de software, además de económicos. Tras la auditoria se realizará simultáneamente la sustitución e instalación de los componentes de hardware, y la creación de máquinas virtuales de nuevo propósito, así como la virtualización de servidores físicos actuales. Por último, se realizará la migración del entorno a versiones actuales y las configuraciones finales del sistema.

[EN] This project is based on the renovation of the information technology (IT) infrastructure of a company using virtualization as a solution for this, in order to serve as an example to follow in these processes. For the development of the project, it has been based on the requirements and conditions of a real customer, so all the evolution of this will be dependent on these requirements. The most characteristic steps will be carried out in a renovation process: It will start from an audit to check the current infrastructure, and assess the different points of improvement, both physical and software, as well as economic. After the audit, the replacement and installation of the hardware components, and the creation of new virtual machines, as well as the virtualization of current physical servers will be carried out simultaneously. Finally, the migration of the environment to current versions and final system configurations will be performed.
