Un lugar para compartir. Habitar en comunidad junto al Clariano

Abstract

[ES] El centro histórico de Ontinyent se encuentra limitado por el río Clariano en uno de sus bordes, en el que actualmente existe un vacío estableciendo una discontinuidad en la fachada de la ciudad. En este vacío donde confluyen diferentes tipos de edificios que responden a diferentes alineaciones, uso y escala, se aprovecha su privilegiada ubicación tanto por su relación directa con el río como por la proximidad de la industria y futuro Museo del Textil, para reflexionar sobre el habitar cooperativo y su implicación en el lugar. El proyecto consiste en una cooperativa de viviendas, en la que se reflexiona sobre diferentes tipos de habitar con cualidades diferentes, configurando una nueva fachada, actualmente inexistente, que permita la lectura continua del lugar. Además, se busca crear una conexión entre la trama urbana de la ciudad consolidada y el río a través de un espacio público como nuevo foco de interés para el lugar.

[EN] The historical centre of Ontinyent is limited by Clariano river in one of its borders, in which, at this moment, exists a lack of buildings that causes a discontinuity at the city s façade. In this void where different types of buildings, which respond to different alignments, use and scale, converge, its privileged location is used for thinking about cooperative living and its involvement in the place, due to its direct relationship with the river and for the proximity of the industry and the future Textile Museum. The project consists of a housing cooperative, in which different types of living with diverse qualities are studied. The building will shape the new façade, non-existent these days, that will allow us to perceive a continuous view of the location. Furthermore, a connection between the urban structure from the consolidated city with the river through a public space that will work as a new interesting point to the site is being sought.
