Aplicación móvil para la reserva de sitios en la biblioteca central UPV

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto consiste en el desarrollo de una aplicación Android que nos permita encontrar los sitios que hay libres en la biblioteca central UPV. Gracias a un mapa que representa las diferentes salas de la biblioteca podremos ver y reservar nuestro sitio por un tiempo limitado. Una vez hayamos ocupado el sitio, éste se asociará a nuestro identificador UPV que cada alumno habrá introducido en la aplicación al registrarse, de manera que para períodos en los que cuesta encontrar sitios libres, los alumnos UPV tendrán preferencia a la hora de ocuparlos. La aplicación también cuenta con un sistema que detecta aquellos sitios que aún habiendo sido vinculados a una cuenta, el alumno no se encuentra en el sitio por un tiempo prolongado, avisándolo y liberando el sitio para que otro alumno pueda ocuparlo.

[EN] This project consists of the development of an Android application that allows us to find free places in the central UPV library. Thanks to a map that represents the different rooms of the library we will be able to see and reserve our place for a limited time. Once we have occupied the place, it will be associated with our UPV identifier that each student will have entered in the application when they signed in, so for periods when it is difficult to find free places, UPV students will have preference in order to occupy them. The application also has a system that detects those places that, even though it have been linked to an account, the student is not on the place for a long time, warning them and releasing the place so another student can occupy it.
