El tiempo entre instantes

Abstract

[ES] El trabajo se encuentra centrado en la producción de imágenes y su posterior interpretación. De este modo se han tomado fotografías tanto a través de métodos analógicos como de métodos digitales, y a partir de ellas se han producido pinturas al óleo. La referencia básica que se ha tenido en cuenta a la hora de desarrollar el proyecto han sido varios fotógrafos de reportaje, en concreto la obra de Robert Frank, ya que en ella se presentan series fotográficas de imágenes muy unidas en el tiempo entre sí. En estas series encontramos fotografías de la misma acción tomadas en instantes consecutivos, como si de fotogramas muy cercanos se tratase. A partir de esta idea se realizan realizadas fotografías muy consecutivas. El paso siguiente a esto, y por tanto el último, es la realización de parejas de pinturas al óleo. Pares de cuadros consecutivos que centran la temática de este trabajo en la captación de ese pequeño salto del tiempo entre dos instantes, y que no se reducen solamente a la simple copia de la fotografía, sino que tratan de jugar con diferentes paletas de color, técnicas pictóricas y recursos que sean capaces transmitir la vivencia de la situación y transmitir la huella pictórica.

[EN] The work wich is presented in the next pages, is focused on the image production and his lately interpretation. In this way photographs have been taken both analogycally and digital, and from them oil paintings have been made. The basic reference that has been taken into account when developing the project has been part of Robert Frank¿s work, specifically, that in wich he presents photographic series of images closely linked in time to each other. In this series we find photograhs of the same action taken in consecutive moments, as if they were very close frames. From this idea, very consecutive photos were taken. The next step and therefore the last, was the completion of pairs of oil paintings. Pairs of consecutive paintings that reflect small jump of time between two instants, and that are not reduced to just the simple copy of the photograph, but rather try to play with different color palettes, pictorical techniques and resource that are capable of transmitting the experience of the situation and transmit the pictorical trace.
