Propuesta de intervención y diseño del sistema expositivo de la obra "L'Indult", del artista Luis Enguídanos.

Abstract

[ES] Mediante este Trabajo Final de Grado se pretende realizar una propuesta de intervención que manifieste la intención de devolver la integridad estructural y visual a tres ninots de poliestireno expandido, pertenecientes al conjunto escultórico que lleva por título ¿L¿indult¿, del artista fallero Luis Enguídanos. Su centro fue quemado, por lo que se encuentra desestructurado, sin un soporte para mantenerse en pie y con numerosos deterioros causados por haber estado almacenados casi dos años en un taller fallero. Sus patologías responden a su conservación en unas condiciones inadecuadas, sin ningún tipo de protección y expuestos a la actividad del trabajo desempeñado en este lugar.

Para ello se procede al estudio técnico de la escultura, contextualizándola de acuerdo con la evolución material de la creación de fallas. El continuo diálogo con el artista y la cooperación interdisciplinar entre conservador y creador favorecerá la comprensión de la tecnología fallera contemporánea, que servirá de base fundamental para desarrollar de manera crítica la propuesta de intervención.

Una vez identificados los aspectos relacionados con las técnicas creativas se idearon una serie de procesos conservativos, afines a los materiales de la obra, con el objetivo de frenar sus daños, garantizar su perdurabilidad y recuperar la visión global perdida.

Por último, fue necesario el diseño de un sistema que posibilitara su exposición. En origen, la obra estaba compuesta por los tres elementos que se conservan, acoplados a un ninot central de mayor tamaño, ahora perdido. Puesto que esta figura vertebradora servía de apoyo para el resto de las piezas del conjunto escultórico, se ideó una nueva unidad compositiva de soporte, que posibilitara el montaje expositivo de la obra y recuperara su unidad visual

[EN] The aim of this Final Degree Project is to carry out a proposal for an intervention that expresses the intention of returning the structural and visual integrity to three ninots made of expanded polystyrene, belonging to the sculptural group entitled ¿L¿indult¿, by the Fallas artist Luis Enguídanos. Its centre was burnt, so it is unstructured, without a support to keep it standing and with numerous deteriorations caused by having been stored for almost two years in a Fallas workshop. Its pathologies are due to its conservation in inadequate conditions, without any type of protection and exposed to the activity of the work carried out in this place.

For this purpose, the technical study of the sculpture is carried out, contextualising it in accordance with the material evolution of the creation of faults. The continuous dialogue with the artist and the interdisciplinary cooperation between curator and creator will favour the understanding of contemporary fallas technology, which will serve as a fundamental basis for developing The proposal to intervene is critically reviewed.

Once the aspects related to the creative techniques were identified, a series of conservation processes were devised, related to the materials of the work, with the aim of stopping its damage, guaranteeing its durability and recovering the lost global vision.

Finally, it was necessary to design a system that would make it possible to exhibit them. Originally, the work was composed of the three elements that remain, coupled to a larger central ninot, now lost. Since this vertebral figure served as a support for the rest of the pieces of the sculpture, a new compositional unit of support was devised, which would make it possible to exhibit the work and recover its visual unity.
