[EN] The first objective of this project is the sizing, design and economic analysis of a 52 kW nominal
and 58.8 kWp peak power photovoltaic solar installation located on the roofs of the buildings of
the Municipal Sports Centre and the “Universidad Popular” in El Palmar, Valencia.
The final installation has 128 photovoltaic modules of 460 Wp connected to two three-phase
inverters which are connected to the electrical network to compensate for the surplus
production. From an energy point of view the photovoltaic installation would cover up to 50%
of the current consumption of the Sports Centre, allowing it to cover the increase in
consumption of the extension of activities and courses planned for the municipal building.
A simulation has been carried out on this installation using the PVsyst software, which allows
both a technical and economic analysis.
The project also has a second objective which consists of the dimensioning and design of a 22
kW nominal power electric vehicle recharging point which allows up to 2 vehicles to be charged
simultaneously.
This recharging point will be the first in the municipality and, together with the photovoltaic
installation, its main objective is to raise awareness of this type of installation among citizens,
both of which form part of a project promoted by Valencia City Council for the energy transition
