La Creu Coberta: eco-barrio postindustrial en Valencia 20XX

Abstract

[ES] Pese a la incertidumbre existente acerca del futuro de la ciudad de Valencia, la tendencia global al crecimiento de los núcleos urbanos obliga a repensar su relación con el territorio y el paisaje. En el año 20XX el barrio postindustrial de la Creu Coberta se convierte en un elemento clave de vertebración de la infraestructura de la ciudad. Con el objetivo principal de conectar transversalmente el espacio urbano, se proyecta un eco-barrio que parte de las preexistencias y pone en crisis el sistema de parcelación convencional. La nueva edificación propuesta deja de ser mera edificación. La ciudad del futuro no diferencia entre arquitectura, urbanismo y paisaje. En 20XX el edificio es una plataforma urbana para el desarrollo paisajístico de la ciudad: el edificio es paisaje y ciudad, la ciudad es edificio y paisaje, el paisaje es ciudad y edificio.

[EN] Despite the existing uncertainty about the future of the city of Valencia, the global growth trend of urban centres forces us to rethink its relationship with the territory and the landscape. In the year 20XX, the post-industrial neighbourhood of Creu Coberta becomes a key element in giving shape to the city's infrastructure. With the main objective of connecting the urban space transversally, an eco-neighbourhood is designed considering the pre-existences as the starting point and putting the conventional plot system in crisis. The proposed new building is no longer a mere building. The city of the future does not differentiate between architecture, urban planning and landscape. In 20XX the building is an urban platform for the landscape development of the city: the building is landscape and city, the city is building and landscape, the landscape is city and building.

[CA] A pesar de la incertesa existent sobre el futur de la ciutat de València, la tendència global al creixement dels nuclis urbans obliga a repensar la seua relació amb el territori i el paisatge. L’any 20XX el barri post industrial de la Creu Coberta es convertix en un element clau de vertebració de la infraestructura de la ciutat. Amb l’objectiu principal de connectar transversalment l’espai urbà, es projecta un eco-barri que part de les preexistències i posa en crisi el sistema de parcel·lació convencional. La nova edificació proposada deixa de ser mera edificació. La ciutat del futur no diferència entre arquitectura, urbanisme i paisatge. En 20XX l’edifici és una plataforma urbana per al desenvolupament paisatgístic de la ciutat: l’edifici és paisatge i ciutat, la ciutat és edifici i paisatge, el paisatge és ciutat i edifici.
