Abstract

[ES] Escuela de Infantil y Primaria dónde se implementará el método Montessori desde sus etapas más tempranas. El niño no será más un objeto pasivo de un educador sino el sujeto activo de su propio aprendizaje. Para ello el aula rompe con el antiguo método "sit and learn" y con su forma rectangular para dar lugar a aulas llenas de rincones, espacios auxiliares y bahías donde los alumnos aprenden trabajando en subgrupos. El aula es ahora una unidad habitacional que puede funcionar de manera autónoma, incluyendo todos los servicios necesarios, a la vez que forma parte de una totalidad y crea un espacio exterior activo al desplazarse, retrocederse y agregarse con otras unidades. Los niños la considerarán su propio hogar y el de su educadora y los pasillos ya no serán tenebrosos lugares de paso, sino "calles del aprendizaje" llenas de actividad, espacios intermedios entre el juego y el estudio. En definitiva, los niños se apoderarán del espacio como auténticos "nómadas" a través de la escuela y de sus espacios exteriores, espacios de juego donde se obsequiará al niño con un entorno natural y amable que incentive a la creatividad y la diversión.

The child will no longer be a passive object of an educator but the active subject of his own learning. For this the classroom breaks with the old method "sit and learn" and with its rectangular shape to give place to classrooms full of corners, auxiliary spaces and bays where students learn working in subgroups. The classroom is now a housing unit that can operate autonomously, including all the necessary services, while being part of a whole and creating an active outdoor space when moving, retreating and adding with other units. The children will consider it their own home and of their educator and the corridors will no longer be dark places of passage, but "streets of learning" full of activity, intermediate spaces between play and study. In short, children will take over the space as authentic "nomads" through the school and its outdoor spaces, playground areas where the child will be gift a natural and friendly environment that encourages creativity and fun.
