Género e identidad: La perspectiva de la mujer acerca de la parte femenina del hombre a través de la fotografía.

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo consiste en el análisis de tres series fotográficas que indagan en la temática de la dualidad femenino-masculino en el ser humano, a través del concepto de género, los roles y estereotipos que se asocian a cada sexo, y centrándose en concreto en la parte femenina que tiene el hombre. El principal objetivo es explorar la relación entre la parte femenina del hombre y la representación fotográfica de la misma, desde mediados del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. La visión de los referentes fotográficos que se van a analizar en el presente trabajo viene dada de la mano de mujeres artistas. Para ello, previamente se estudiarán el concepto de género y la relación entre los distintos géneros, el concepto de masculinidad y los distintos tipos de masculinidades existentes, buscando cuál de estos tipos es el que más concuerda con la temática de la investigación y cuáles son sus características.

[EN] This work consists of the analysis of three photographic series that investigate the theme of the female-male duality in the human being, through the concept of gender, the roles and stereotypes associated with each sex, and focusing specifically on the feminine part that man has. The main objective is to explore the relationship between the female part of the man and the photographic representation of it, from the middle of the 20th century to the present. The vision of the photographic references that are going to be analyzed in this work is given by women artists. To do this, the concept of gender and the relationship between the different genders, the concept of masculinity and the different types of existing masculinities will be previously studied, seeking which of these types is the one that best agrees with the research theme and results are their features.
