No rush, El cómic como herramienta educativa en diversidad sexual.

Abstract

[ES] La representación del colectivo LGBT+ en los cómics puede ayudar mucho a los más jóvenes. Leer un cómic sobre dos personas LGBT+ en un papel protagonista, con diferentes entornos, diferentes formas de vida, de sentir y de ser puede ayudar a que gente joven se vea reflejada y representada. En la actualidad, es importante hablar de construcciones sociales como los roles de género (o el género mismo), como la pérdida de la virginidad o la ansiedad ante situaciones con las que una persona ha tenido problemas anteriormente. Estamos ante un primer capítulo del cómic titulado No Rush, que tiene como objetivo la concienciación a los jóvenes (y no tan jóvenes) sobre la diversidad sexual y dar una voz protagonista al colectivo LGBT+. Donde el argumento principal también se basará en diferentes etapas de una relación y en las diferentes relaciones que tenemos en nuestro entorno. La familia, el grupo de amigos y una persona que empieza como amistad pero que empieza a convertirse en un interés amoroso. Este trabajo tiene también como objetivo mostrar el cómic como una herramienta educativa más como lo pueden ser documentales, películas o libros.

[EN] The representation of the LGTB+ community in comics may be crucial when it comes to helping the young. Reading a comic in which the main characters pertain to the LGTB+ community, each with feelings and personalities of their own, live in contrasting environments, and have different lifestyles can help children and teenagers to feel represented. Talking about social constructs such as gender roles (or gender itself), having sex for the first time or the anxiety that comes with situations that have been problematic in the past is important in this time and age. In this dissertation, we explore ¿No Rush¿, a comic whose objective is raising awareness between children and teenagers of sexual diversity while putting the spotlight on LGBT+ voices. This comic delves into the different stages of a relationship and the various relationships we establish with the people in our environment. Family, groups of friends and someone who, after turning into a friend, becomes a romantic interest. This dissertation also focuses on showing the potential of the comic as a tool that could be used with educational purposes in the same way documentaries, films and books are.
