Abstract

[ES] Dentro del complejo de la Universidad Laboral de Cheste nace un nuevo equipamiento educativo motivado por la cercanía del circuito Ricardo Tormo. Así, la nueva escuela de pilotos busca, además de convertirse en un referente en formación de pilotos dentro del mundo del motor, consolidarse como pieza de conexión entre ambos lugares. Ubicado en lo alto de la colina, el proyecto de a escuela de pilotos se presenta como una ampliación del corredor-mirador que se alarga hasta posicionarse mirando al circuito. De este modo se establece una estrecha relación formal y material con la arquitectura del lugar y una relación visual privilegiada del circuito Ricardo Tormo. El proyecto busca una integración respetuosa con el entorno natural así como con la arquitectura existente. Con estas premisas se desarrolla una única pieza, resultado de la repetición y encaje de un módulo conceptual base, que se abre y adapta al terreno procurando relaciones directas con los espacios exteriores. La escala de la pieza, su métrica y su materialidad son fruto del análisis e interpretación de la arquitectura de la Universidad Laboral y contribuyen a su integración en el entorno.

[EN] Inside the complex of the Laboral University of Cheste a new educational facility is born motivated by the nearness of the Ricardo Tormo circuit. This new pilots school seeks, i n addition to become a referent i n the training of pilots i nside the motor world, to consolidate as a piece of connection between both spaces. Sited on the top of the hill, the project of pilot s school presents i tself as an ampliation of the balcony-corridor which l enghts i tself untill positionating l ooking at the circuit. In this way i t i s establised a narrow formal and material relation with the surrounding architecture and a privilegious visual relation with the Ricardo Tormo s circuit. The project seeks a respectfull i ntegration with the natural environment and with the existent architecture. With this premises i t i s proposed a single piece, resulting of the repeating and fixing of a conceptual base module, which opens and fits to the ground providing direct relations with the outdor spaces. The scale of the piece, i ts measurement and i ts materiality are the fruit of the analisis and the interpretation of the Laboral University s architecture and contribuit to i ts i ntegration i n the environment.
