Escuela de arquitectura en la huerta de Valencia

Abstract

[ES] La escuela se desarrolla para crear un método de enseñanza en el que el arte esté presente en todo momento e influya y haga germinar la creatividad del alumnado. Con el fin de incentivar esta sensibilidad y expandir las actividades artísticas hacia las afueras del centro de Valencia, el complejo se sitúa en la huerta valenciana. El entramado parcelario definido por el recorrido del agua de las acequias se diferencia en una de las parcelas, provocando un trayecto inusual y poético que justifica y alude a la necesidad de liberar esa expresividad en el pensamiento arquitectónico. Además, la rotación de los cultivos muestra un cambio en el tiempo que en cada época del año proporciona nuevas perspectivas. Por ello, el proyecto se emplaza en este paisaje que se diferencia del resto, en todo momento tratando con respeto y cautela la horizontalidad que le acoge. Por lo que respecta al conjunto arquitectónico, el proyecto pretende generar nuevos usos en un espacio central y cambiante, donde las personas interaccionen con el edificio y entre ellas mismas a través de sus actividades, sosteniendo el concepto de que la arquitectura debe entenderse como un proceso transformable, donde la persona que reciba el servicio de este espacio pueda adaptar este a sus necesidades, estableciendo una relación entre la hipótesis y el resultado que este genere en la práctica. Un proceso de cambio en el tiempo generado por el nuevo uso del arte, donde las funciones vienen a potenciar lo construido y el individuo adquiere actuaciones espontáneas gracias a la permuta de los espacios.

[EN] The school is developed to create a teaching method in which art is present at all times and influences and germinates the creativity of students. In order to encourage this sensitivity and expand the artistic activities to the outskirts of the center of Valencia, the complex is located in the Valencian garden. The parcel layout defined by the water path of the ditches differs in one of the plots, causing an unusual and poetic journey that justifies and alludes to the need to release that expressivity in architectural thought. In addition, it shows a changing landscape in time that provides new perspectives at each time of year. Therefore, the project is located in this landscape that differs from the rest, at all times treating with respect and caution the horizontality that welcomes it. With regard to the architectural set, the project aims to generate new uses in a central and changing space, where people interact with the building and with each other through their activities, supporting the concept that architecture should be understood as a process transformable, where the person receiving the service of this space can adapt this to their needs, establishing a relationship between the hypothesis and the result that this generates in practice. A process of change in time generated by the new use of art, where the functions come to enhance the built and the individual acquires spontaneous actions thanks to the exchange of spaces.
