Abstract

[ES] El proyecto se sitúa en Cheste junto a la Universidad Laboral obra de Moreno Barberá. La parcela se enclava en la parte alta del complejo en la zona deportiva y residencial, entre elementos de gran escala como es el Circuito Ricardo Tormo y los edificios residenciales de gran altura. La idea es incorporar la escuela de pilotos como un elemento más de la trama de Cheste, buscando reducir su peso visual para que no interfiera con la lectura del entorno a escala general. La organización funcional se plantea siguiendo dos directrices; Las necesidades propias del programa y el grado de privacidad. Desde el punto de vista del programa, se divide la intervención en distintos bloques. Así, se generan dos edificios residenciales y tres dedicados a elementos educacionales: un bloque deportivo, un segundo para cafetería y servicios y otro más dedicado a administración y uso docente. Todos ellos, se conectan con el fin de generar esa idea de conjunto a través de una plaza cubierta a modo de mirador hacia el circuito que tiene como objetivo ser un lugar de encuentro. El proyecto se adapta al terreno para generar distintos grados de privacidad. Es por ello, que los elementos de carácter más público se ubican en cota cero en la parte llana más alta de la parcela, al mismo nivel que el punto de acceso situado al norte del solar. Sin embargo, la residencia se dispone a una cota inferior con tal de conseguir un mayor grado de intimidad, ya que se entiende como un espacio de tranquilidad donde poder disfrutar de las vistas. En definitiva, no se trata de un centro dedicado únicamente a la formación de pilotos, sino que también dé servicio al circuito y a otro tipo de usuarios durante eventos. La materialidad acompaña la naturaleza del proyecto, la estructura metálica y el sistema de lamas permiten diferenciarse de las preexistencias al mismo tiempo que unifican el conjunto y matizan la luz que llega al interior.

[EN] The project is located in Cheste next to the University was built by Moreno Barberá. The plot is located at the top of the complex in the sports and residential area between large-scale elements such as the Ricardo Tormo Circuit and high-rise residential buildings. The aim of the proposal is to incorporate the pilot school as another element of the Cheste plot, trying to reduce its visual impact to avoid interfering with the perception of the enviroment on a general scale. The functional organization is proposed following two guidelines; The needs of the program and the degree of privacy. From the point of view of the program, the intervention is divided into different blocks. Two residential buildings and three dedicated to educational elements are generated: a sports block, another for cafeteria and services and the last one dedicated to administration and teaching use. All of them are connected in order to generate that aggregation idea through a covered square as a gazer towards the circuit that aims to be a meeting place. The project adapts to the terrain to generate different degrees of privacy. For this reason, the most public elements are located at ground level in the highest flat part of the plot, at the same level as the access point located north of the site. However, the residence is placed at a lower level in order to achieve a greater degree of privacy because it is understood as a space of tranquility where you can enjoy the views. In short, it is not a center dedicated solely to pilot training, but also serves the circuit and other types users during events. The materiality accompanies the nature of the project, the metal structure and the slat system allow it to be distinguished from the existing buildings, while unifying the project and controls the light that enters to the interior.
