Les Femmes

Abstract

[ES] "El día que una mujer pueda no amar con su debilidad sino con su fuerza, no escapar de sí misma sino encontrarse, no humillarse sino afirmarse, ese día el amor será para ella, como para el hombre, fuente de vida y no un peligro mortal." Con esta cita de Simone de Beauvoir se da pie al trabajo fotográfico, con la intención de hacer pedazos el silencio de las víctimas que han sufrido violencia de género y visibilizar la desigualdad que nuestra sociedad aún sufre en pleno siglo XXI. Parte de este trabajo, está inspirado en los Cuadernos de Quejas, para ello se ha creado un fotolibro con todas las fotografías tomadas a lo largo del proyecto y los testimonios recopilados durante su elaboración, profundizando en sus sentimientos y emociones.

[EN] "On the day when it will be possible for woman to love not in her weakness but in strength, not to escape herself but to find herself, not to abase herself but to assert herself, on that day love will become for her, as for the man, a source of life and not of mortal danger." This quote from Simone de Beauvoir gives rise to the photographic work, with the intention to shatter the silence of the victims who have suffered gender violence and to give visibility to the inequality that our society still suffers in the 21st century. Part of this work is inspired by the Notebooks of Complaints. To this end, a photobook has been created by including all the photographs taken throughout the project and the testimonies collected during it¿s elaboration, deepening in the victims¿ feelings and emotions.
