Diseño, dibujo y entintado de personajes para un cómic: proyecto Luca y leo (I)

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo se centra en el diseño, dibujo y entintado de personajes, a parte de en la concepción de guiones, storyboard y merchandaising. El proyecto se compone de la creación, en equipo, de un cómic de temática fantástica y contenido moral, cuya trama comienza con dos niños amigos que suelen pasar los veranos en casa de sus abuelos. La historia ocurre en un pueblo ficticio valenciano llamado Vilaluòl en la época de los 2000. Los protagonistas son dos niños muy creativos que suelen jugar juntos en su su mundos de fantasía. Leo, no tiene un buen ambiente familiar culpa de su padre y sus abuelos por parte de este. Sin embargo, en este cómic el niño logrará librarse de todos esos conflictos con la ayuda de su amiga, la abuela y tías abuelas de la niña y finalmente de su madre, Laura. El proceso de trabajo que se ha seguido durante el desarrollo de Luca y Leo ha sido el siguiente: primero se imaginó la historia y se estructuró mediante un guión literario y uno técnico, y se diseñaron los personajes y ambientes buscando un estilo coherente. Se centraron las energías en crear una historia de fantasía con un mensaje realista y educativo, y unos personajes y escenarios memorables.

[EN] This work focuses on the design, drawing and inking of characters, apart from the conception of scripts, storyboard and merchandising. The project consists of the creation, as a team, of a comic with a fantastic theme and moral content, whose plot begins with two boy friends who usually spend summers at their grandparents' house. The story takes place in a fictional Valencian town called Vilaluòl in the 2000s. The protagonists are two very creative children who usually play together in their fantasy worlds. Leo, does not have a good family environment because of his father and grandparents. However, in this comic the boy will manage to get rid of all those conflicts with the help of his friend, Luca¿s grandmother and great aunts and finally her mother, Laura. The work process that has been followed during the development of Luca and Leo has been as follows: first the story was imagined and structured through a literary and a technical script, and the characters and environments were designed seeking a coherent style. The energies were focused on creating a fantasy story with a realistic and educational message and memorable characters and settings.
