Arthuriana: Ilustraciones risográficas sobre las leyendas artúricas

Abstract

[ES] Este proyecto consiste en la elaboración de una serie de láminas risográficas sobre las leyendas del Rey Arturo y la mesa redonda, des de las versiones más conocidas protagonizadas por el Rey o Lanzarote como a otras menos conocidas por el público general. Las ilustraciones son independientes y no han sido pensadas para ilustrar ninguna versión en concreto, más bien están ideadas como una forma de caricaturizar unas leyendas que, en desconocimiento de muchos, abundan en elementos surrealistas además de mágicos. Cada imagen se basa en un instante y en unos personajes concretos, aprovechándose al máximo la increíble diversidad de temas, entornos, y protagonistas que brindan las diferentes versiones de la obra.

[EN] This Project consists in the production of a series of risographic illustrated prints about the Arthurian legends, from the more popular versions starring the King or Sir Lancelot to other, lesser known iterations. Each illustration is independent from each other and is not meant to fully illustrate any of the versions. They are conceived with the means to caricature the Arthurian legends, which are filled to the brim with surreal and magical elements. Every image is based on a concrete moment inside the legends, taking full advantage of the staggering diversity of themes, landscapes and characters that fill the different iterations of the tales.
