Android application for managing locks digitally

Abstract

Nowadays, nearly anyone has a mobile phone, and a high percentage of those mobile phones are running the Android OS. These mobile phones are starting to look like computers in terms of usability and computational power. Based on these improvements, we as developers are capable of designing more powerful and complex applications, leading to a large amount of different programs which are able of using the Internet, measuring your beating or being able to track your position via GPS chips. More concretely, this project consists of making an application used to manage locks digitally. That is, you use your android terminal to connect to the company servers via the Internet to manage the locks you are allowed to have access. With this application you will no longer need keys to open any door, just the mobile phone you carry with everywhere. In three words, we can describe the application as easy, practical and advanced.
