Miedo y asko en Valencia; Un comic sobre las relaciones interpersonales.

Abstract

[ES] Mi propuesta como trabajo de fin de grado se centra en la creación de un comic, que constara de unas 12 páginas, las cuales se reparten en tres capítulos diferentes. Una historia original, que contara con su respectivo guion, bocetos, y estudios de personajes

El objetivo es mostrar la profesionalidad y cualidades aprendidas a lo largo del grado de bellas artes, a su vez que la publicación de dicho comic, es decir, una vez en maquetado e impreso presentarlo a una editorial independiente con intención de ser publicado. También hare un análisis del proceso creativo de estos tres últimos años donde trabaje el tipo de ilustración que uso y todos los cambios vividos, así como el desarrollo del personaje principal.

La historia gira en torno a una chica llamada María de 18 años de un pueblo de Murcia llamado Abarán que proviene de una familia ultracatólica, la cual no están nada satisfecha con el estilo de vida de su hija, ya que ella no sigue ni sus gustos estéticos ni su estilo de vida católica, pero es buena chica, aunque ellos no lo vean. Los padres deciden darle la opción de mudarse a la ciudad de valencia para cursas estudios católicos en el convento de ¿Esclavas de María¿, que cumple con la función de residencia femenina y centro educativo. La intención de los padres con esto es que María cambie de vida y se entregue a la vida santa, ella acepta, pero no con la intención de redirigir su vida hacia donde sus padres quieren sino tener la oportunidad de irse de su casa.

En primer lugar, contara el viaje, la primera impresión del convento y el ambiente que hay, en segundo lugar, se verá con qué tipo de gente tiene que convivir y las relaciones que se crean entre ellas. Al final de las hojas incluirá un estudio de personajes sobre cada personaje que hayan aparecido en la historia.

También dedicare una parte del trabajo para hablar de los artistas que más me han influido, algunos serán dibujantes nacionales como Francisco Ibáñez o Paco Roca, y otros más internacionales, de estilos muy diferentes, el mangaka Shintaro Kago o la ilustradora iraní Marjane Satrapi. En estos estudios reflexionaré sobre ellos, destacando como han marcado su impronta en mi trabajo.

[EN] My proposal as a final degree project focuses on the creation of a comic, which will consist of about 12 pages, which are divided into three different chapters. An original story, which will have its respective script, sketches, and character studies.

The objective is to show the professionalism and qualities learned throughout the degree of fine arts, in turn that the publication of said comic, that is, once in layout and print, present it to an independent publisher with the intention of being published. I will also do an analysis of the creative process of the last three years where I work on the type of illustration I use and all the changes experienced, as well as the development of the main character.

The story revolves around an 18-year-old girl named María from a town in Murcia called Abarán who comes from an ultra-Catholic family, which is not at all satisfied with her daughter's lifestyle, since she does not even follow her tastes aesthetics or her Catholic lifestyle, but she's a good girl, even if they don't see it. The parents decide to give her the option of moving to the city of Valencia to study Catholic studies in the convent of ¿Esclavas de María¿, which fulfills the function of a female residence and an educational center. The intention of the parents with this is that Maria change her life and surrender to the holy life, she accepts, but not with the intention of redirecting her life to where her parents want but to have the opportunity to leave home.

The first chapter will tell about the trip, the first impression of the convent and the environment that there is, in the second chapter you see what kind of people you have to live with and the relationships that are created between them, and in the last you will have a Marian appearance that It will question your faith and the person you are. At the end of the sheets, include a character study on each character that appeared in the story.

I will also dedicate a part of the work to talk about the artists who have influenced me the most, some will be national cartoonists such as Francisco Ibáñez or Paco Roca, and others more international, with very different styles, the mangaka Shintaro Kago or the Iranian illustrator Marjane Satrapi. In these studies, I will reflect on them, highlighting how they have marked their mark on my work.
