VIAJES EFÍMEROS. REALIZACIÓN DE UN LIBRO ILUSTRADO

Abstract

[ES] Este TFG, reflexiona sobre aspectos tan importantes como el viaje como metáfora de la vida y lo efímero como muestra de la fugacidad y lo pasajero. Parte de las diferentes exploraciones de técnicas pictóricas destinadas a ser ilustraciones relacionadas con esta temática, tomando como referencia directa los textos, conceptos y experiencias reales e imaginarias que se muestra en libros de viajes, satisfaciendo las percepciones y las sensaciones de la artista tras su lectura, recogidas en un libro ilustrado.

Los viajes son continuo movimiento, repletos de sensaciones desconocidas, donde exploramos nuevos senderos cuyos fugaces recuerdos guardamos de forma perpetua. Las narraciones son convertidas en ilustraciones, donde la influencia artística es esencial e interpretan el texto. En las obras ilustradas se aprecian paletas de distintas armonías cromáticas, según las necesidades para representar los diferentes lugares e instantes, no suponiendo un cambio en la percepción y diseño total del libro ilustrado. Técnicamente, se llegan a abstraer e interpretar algunas formas, siendo esencial la expresión y la intuición mediante pinceladas rápidas, sueltas y trazos gestuales.

La cámara fotográfica es fundamental para la realización de estas ilustraciones que capturan paisajes desconocidos desde un punto de vista en el que se trata lo que se queda en la memoria, el recuerdo y lo efímero como lugar de paso. Por lo tanto, se aborda la relación entre fotografía y pintura, entre lo reflexivo y lo subjetivo, plasmando y transformando aquello que se imagina tras las distintas descripciones recogidas en una historia escrita en primera persona, dejando libre interpretación.

[EN] This TFG reflects on aspects as important as travel as a metaphor for life and the ephemeral as a sign of transience and the passing. Arises of the different explorations of pictorial techniques destined to be illustrations related to this theme, taking as direct reference the texts, concepts and real and imaginary experiences that are shown in travel books, satisfying the perceptions and sensations of the artist after reading, collected in an illustrated book.

The trips are continuous movement, full of unknown sensations, where we explore new paths whose fleeting memories we keep in perpetuity. The narratives are turned into illustrations, where artistic influence is essential and they interpret the text. In this illustrated works, we see palettes of different chromatic harmonies, according to the needs to represent the different places and moments, not assuming a change in the perception and overall picture book design. Technically, some forms are abstracted and interpreted, being essential expression and intuition through quick, loose brushstrokes and gestural strokes.

The photographic camera is essential for the realization of these illustrations that capture unknown landscapes from a point of view that deals with what remains in the memory, the memory and the ephemeral as a place of passage. Therefore, the relationship between photography and painting, between the reflective and the subjective, is addressed, capturing and transforming what is imagined behind the different descriptions collected in a story written in the first person, leaving free interpretation.
