FixTheFault: Una app con infraestructura cloud para la gestión de tareas de mantenimiento

Abstract

[ES] Desde hace tiempo, los dispositivos móviles forman parte de nuestras vidas, desde el uso en un entorno empresarial, como también para uso personal. Cada vez son más potentes y asequibles para nuestros bolsillos, es difícil no tener uno. Aprovechando el despliegue de estos, una aplicación software para dispositivos móviles que cubra una necesidad real, puede suponer una gran oportunidad de negocio y más productividad para los usuarios. En este proyecto de emprendimiento, se recorren todas las fases necesarias para llevar a cabo una aplicación software, desde la idea de negocio, estudio del mercado, proyección económica, desarrollo, experimentos con los usuarios para validar el producto, hasta el despliegue de esta. Empresas o autónomos que necesitan gestionar de una manera eficiente el mantenimiento a clientes o a sus propias instalaciones, encuentran que las aplicaciones actuales van integradas en sistemas costosos y complejos los cuales no resultan interesantes. Por otra parte, las aplicaciones que ya existen no implementan funciones eficientes para gestionar el mantenimiento preventivo, se centran más en partes de trabajo estándar. FixTheFault es una aplicación para dispositivos móviles con infraestructura en la nube, que te ayuda a gestionar de manera más eficiente las tareas de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo. Pensada para sacarle mayor partido en hoteles y apartamentos turísticos, donde es necesario que cualquier empleado o incluso cliente, pueda dar parte de una incidencia y se notifique inmediatamente al técnico para una solución temprana y una menor repercusión negativa para la empresa, teniendo funciones muy interesantes para el administrador que le ayudan a analizar el estado de las instalaciones, así como también en rendimiento de los técnicos. No obstante, la aplicación puede adaptarse también a cualquier empresa o autónomo que realicen tareas de mantenimiento. Este TFG se ha desarrollado en el marco de Start.inf, el espacio de emprendimiento de la ETSINF.

[EN] Mobile devices have long been part of our lives: from their use in a business environment to their personal use. These devices are becoming more powerful and affordable for our pockets, this is why it is difficult not to have one. Taking advantage of this factor, a software application for mobile devices that covers a real need can be a great business opportunity and can imply an increment in the users’ productivity. In this entrepreneurship project, all the necessary phases are developed to carry out a software application; from the idea of business, market research, economic projection, development, experiments with the users to validate the product, until the release of this one. Companies or freelancers who need to efficiently manage maintenance or their own facilities, find that current applications are integrated into expensive and complex systems that are not interesting. Furthermore, existing applications do not implement efficient functions to manage preventive maintenance since they are focusing more on standard parts of the work. FixTheFault is an application for mobile devices with Cloud infrastructure, which helps you to manage more efficiently preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. It has been designed to get the best out of hotels and tourist apartments, where it is necessary that any employee or even a customer can report an incident. Thus, the technician is immediately notified for an early solution and a less negative impact in the company. In addition, it includes very interesting functions for the administrator that help him to analyze the state of the installations, as well as the efficiency of the technicians. However, the application can also be adapted to any company or self-employed for maintenance purposes. This project has been developed within the framework of Start.inf, the entrepreneurship space of the ETSINF.
