Optimization of feedindg and drying centre of polymeric material in an injection polymer plant

Abstract

[EN] The object of this project is to establish and justify all the data about the optimization and renovation of the feeding and drying centre1 in a polymer injection plant of Faurecia Group. It is a proposed draft about the new central feed and this project is stems of the need to dimension the new capacity of the central feed area about the new state of the plant. It is going to develop on the centre feeding area of Faurecia plant in Fradley (UK). The plant is going to change because some projects are leaving and some are coming so this project is important for understanding, where the factory are right now and where the factory will be in the future. And then dimension and optimization all the feeding centre in function of that results. This project has three important targets: The first one would be to collect all the data needed from all the departments that are involved. And then confirm and complete all that data with the shop floor to get the point for working. For that, it is important understand the logical of each department and the way of work. This is the heaviest part of the project because of the great expense of time involved. The second one would be to calculate and process all that data to get the states of the factory. Understand the states and make decisions in function of those states. And the last one will be to ask for quotations and make a proposal to apply the project in the plant. The importance of this project is high when the capacity status is going to change in the plant. The factory needs to see the capacity status right now and the capacity status for the future to prepare all the facilities and to be ready for the new statuses.
