Escalas: Biblioteca, Centro cultural y Albergue En Pinedo, Valencia.

Abstract

[ES] El objetivo de este TFM (Trabajo Final de Máster) es dar una respuesta de recuperación para el frente marítimo en el sureste de Pinedo, Valencia. Actualmente amplias áreas entre la cuidad y la costa están ocupados por aparcamientos, y se usan por la gente que solo viene a visitar los bares o la playa. Para la gente local, la cuidad presenta muy pocas oportunidades y espacios culturales, por lo cual la población local se enfrenta a la necesidad de ir hacia Valencia en búsqueda de actividades culturales El proyecto trata de recuperar las zonas verdes, creando un parque natural, rematar y dejar permeables las manzanas que actualmente forman la barrera entre ciudad y zona verde, dotando el pueblo de las instalaciones de biblioteca, centro cultural, centros de investigación y un albergue, satisfaciendo así las necesidades de la comunidad local.

[EN] The goal of this TFM (final work of the Master) is to create a solution for the recuperation of the south-eastern seafront of the town of Pinedo, Valencia. Currently vast areas of land between the town and the sea are occupied by parking spots, which are mainly used by people who come only to visit the bars or the beach. The town itself presents little to no cultural spaces for local people, who face the need to go to Valencia for most cultural activities. The project consists of the recovery of the green areas, substituting the parking for natural park. Parking itself would be moved further away from the beach, into abandoned industrial spaces. Another objective is a completion of the building plots (which now present a barrier between the town and the green areas), by creating a library, cultural center, investigation offices and a small hostel, thus satisfying the needs for the local community.
