dc.description.abstract [EN] This first Italian Rabbit Days, product of the collaboration between ASIC (Italian Rabbit Scientific Association), Avitalia and the Forli Fair, and sponsored by ASPA (Animal Production Scientific Association), was mainly focussed on rabbit production sector throughout a round table about “Legislative aspects and use of drugs in rabbits” during the first day. The second day had a scientific character including 2 reviews of experts on current topics as the nutrition and gut barrier function in meat rabbits, and the value creation in rabbit industry. A total of 26 scientific communications were presented in 2 oral communication sessions and 1 poster session: First Session In this first session were presented 3 communications on rabbit Nutrition and Management, and 3 on rabbit Welfare. Second Session. This session was focussed on rabbit Meat Quality, with 2 communications, and Pathology, including 7 communications. Finally a Poster Session recovered the works presented by 11 European scientific teams.
