MENTE Y CUERPO UNA PROPUESTA ESCULTÓRICA E INSTALATIVA

Abstract

[ES] En este Trabajo Final de Grado profundizamos en el estudio del arte prehistórico en busca de comprender el mundo interior del ser humano primevo. Analizamos cómo este materializaba conceptos abstractos para expresar sus ideas y pensamientos en base de la experiencia visual. El objetivo principal es indagar sobre el arte prehistórico en búsqueda de un vínculo físico y mental que nos de una base teórica para poder realizar una producción artística. La metodología es teórico-practica, es decir, se realiza un estudio bibliográfico de autores cercanos a nuestros intereses que permiten consolidar la propuesta práctica. Estos nos acercan al mundo del arte prehistórico, a la importancia de los volúmenes y a la concepción espacial del hombre primevo. Permitiéndonos comprender así el vínculo físico y mental resultado de la materialización de conceptos abstractos mediante la expresión artística. Vemos referentes artísticos cuyos trabajos son instalaciones cercanas a nuestros intereses. Nos aportan herramientas que nos permiten producir una producción escultórica e instalativa que resuelva los objetivos planteados. Finalmente, se realiza y documenta una producción artística basada en una instalación cuyos elementos principales son esculturas que muestren la relación mente-cuerpo del ser humano prehistórico.

[EN] In this final degree project we delve into the study of prehistoric art to understand the inner world of the first human being. we analyze how they materialized abstract concepts to express their ideas and thoughts based on their visual experience.

the main objective is to investigate prehistoric art in the search of a physical and mental link, that gives us a theoretical basis to be able to produce an art project.

the methodology is theoretical-practical, and we carry out a bibliographic study of authors close to our interests that allow us to consolidate the practical proposal. these bring us closer to the world of prehistoric art, the importance of volumes and the spatial conception of the first man. thus approaching the physical and mental link resulting from the materialization of abstract concepts through artistic expression.

we see artistic references whose works are installations close to our interests. they provide us with tools that allow us to produce a sculptural and installation proposal that solves the objectives we set in the beginning of the project.

finally, the artistic production based on an installation is made and documented, and the main elements of it are sculptures that show the mind-body relationship of the prehistoric human being.
