REDISEÑO DE LA LOGISTICA DE DISTRIBUCION EN UNA EMPRESA DEL SECTOR AGROALIMIENTARIO DE ELABORADOS CÁRNICOS

Abstract

[ES] La industria agroalimentaria comprende el principal sector manufacturero de España, siendo la industria cárnica el mayor subsector por volumen de negocio. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster pretende abordar el rediseño del sistema de distribución de una gran empresa de elaborados cárnicos encuadrada en un entorno internacional cuyo dinamismo, al trabajar con producto perecedero y temperatura controlada lo convierte en especialmente complejo. Partiendo de una situación inicial determinada por las condiciones de los clientes, mediante la técnica de simulación por eventos se analizan los diferentes rediseños propuestos hasta seleccionar el más adecuado para la empresa. Los resultados muestran una mejora en los parámetros principales definidos por la empresa, siendo notable en el apartado económico donde se aprecia una importante reducción de los costes operacionales.

[EN] The Agri-food industry comprises the main manufacturing sector in Spain, with the meat industry being the largest sub-sector by trade volume. This Master¿s Thesis intends to address the redesign of the distribution system of a large meat processing company framed in an international environment whose dynamism, when working both with perishable product and controlled temperature, makes it especially complex. Starting from an initial situation determined by the conditions of the clients and by means of the simulation technique by events, the different proposed redesigns are analyzed until the most appropriate one is selected for the company. The results show an improvement in the main parameters defined by the company, being notable in the economic section where there is a significant reduction in operating costs.
