Solar powered ammonia absorption system automation project

Abstract

[EN] The Solar Plant upstart company called SHEPGS have designed a new type of solar power plant and they have assigned us the work of designing the plant automation of the daily cycle. The Solar Plant use ammonia absorption system to be heated and use it to drive a stream turbine and store it for the winter. The Project has been designed to obtain an efficient and safe Plant, using flow, temperature and pressure sensors for a full controll and alarms system of the operation of the plant and for safety (the Plant is using ammonia). The Automation Project allows a cost study for the implementation of the Solar Plant Automation.
