Abstract

[EN] The proposal for an agricultural school "agrocenter" in the Valencian orchard is proposed as the object of the PFC. The project is located near the sea, adjacent to the Patacona neighborhood north of the UPV. The aim of the work is to reflect on the role of the vegetables plots with the environment of the city. Solve existing problems on the urban edge between city-orchard, and improve the connection so that it is permeable and they live together. Based on the pre-existing, the idea of the project is to generate a series of water branches from the main ditches, from Vera and Palmar. These branches together with the footprint of existing and historical vegetables plots generate spaces where the agrocenter program is developed. As for the needs program, it is a teaching center, a gastronomic center and an agro-museum. That is, a school that adds a combination of complementary services that help its relationship with the environment and get an appeal to make the vegetables plots more frequented.

ES] Se propone como objeto del PFC la propuesta de una escuela agrícola "agrocenter" en la huerta Valenciana. El proyecto se ubica próximo al mar, colindante con el barrio de la Patacona al norte de la UPV. El objetivo del trabajo es reflexionar sobre el papel de la huerta con el entorno de la ciudad. Resolver los problemas existentes en el borde urbano entre ciudad-huerta, y mejorar la conexión para que sea permeable y convivan juntos. Con base en lo preexistente, la idea del proyecto es generar una serie de ramificaciones de agua provenientes de las acequias principales, de Vera y del Palmar. Estas ramificaciones junto con la huella de los huertos existentes e históricos generan unos espacios donde se desarrolla el programa del agrocenter. En cuanto al programa de necesidades, se trata de un centro docente, un centro gastronómico y un agromuseo. Es decir, una escuela que añada una combinación de servicios complementarios que ayuden a la relación de esta con el entorno y conseguir un atractivo para que la huerta sea más frecuentada.
