Nueva tipología habitacional en la favela Morro da Providencia, Río de Janeiro.

Abstract

[ES] La idea de proyecto surge durante mi estancia en Río de Janeiro, gracias a una beca Santander de la UPV. En destino fui consciente de que en las favelas existen una serie de graves problemas vinculados a la vivienda, los cuales trato de acometer en este proyecto. Esto se pretende conseguir, mediante el diseño y desarrollo de una célula habitacional autoconstruible, con estructura flexible y que se puede ampliar o reducir a través de módulos. Se pretende que la construcción de las tipologías se desarrollen con sistemas de autoconstrucción locales, con el objetivo de que la comunidad sea partícipe del proyecto. Así mismo, paralelamente al diseño, se tendrán en cuenta diversos parámetros bioclimáticos, así como su impacto en el entorno. Para finalizar, se analizarán y se reflexionarán las conclusiones extraídas y se valorará la posibilidad de implantar este proyecto en otras zonas del país. El objetivo es que estas tipologías se puedan adaptar mediante su flexibilidad a cualquier favela, es decir, que sean replicables y que sustituyan a las unidades habitacionales que se encuentran hoy en día en condiciones de insalubridad, con la finalidad de aportar una vivienda digna a la comunidad que reside en la favela.

[EN] The idea for the project arose during my stay in Rio de Janeiro, thanks to a Santander grant from the UPV. While there, I became aware that in the favelas there are a series of serious problems related to housing, which I am trying to tackle in this project. The aim is to achieve this through the design and development of a self-build housing cell, with a flexible structure that can be extended or reduced through modules. It is intended that the construction of the typologies will be developed with local self-construction systems, with the aim of involving the community in the project. Likewise, in parallel to the design, various bioclimatic parameters will be taken into account, as well as their impact on the environment. Finally, the conclusions drawn will be analysed and reflected upon, and the possibility of implementing this project in other areas of the country will be assessed. The objective is that these typologies can be adapted through their flexibility to any favela, i.e. that they can be replicated and replace the housing units that are currently in unhealthy conditions, with the aim of providing decent housing for the community living in the favela.
