dc.description.abstract | [EN] The combination of electrostimulation techniques with electrochemical controlled drug release from mesoporous silica nanoparticles for nervous cells regeneration is an unexplored field, even though electrostimulation, the use of nanoparticles and controlled drug delivery are techniques that have yielded promising results for nerve tissue regeneration. With the purpose of technique combination, a specific tool has been developed: ZOIS, an electronic device capable of applying these techniques in cell culture environment in a flexible and sequenced way. The device has been electrically tested and an electrochemical validation has been done by means of applying cyclic voltammetry in a ferrocyanide-ferricyanide dissolution. | es_ES |
