Centro deportivo de alto rendimiento junto al Estadio Castalia en Castellón.

Abstract

[ES] El proyecto se ubica en las proximidades del Estadio de Castalia en la ciudad de Castellón. Este estadio de fútbol pertenece al CD Castellón, equipo más representativo de la ciudad. Se trata de una zona situada en el límite de la ciudad y es el punto en el que confluye la ciudad, con una gran infraestructura como es la Ronda Norte y una zona de naves industriales. El objetivo principal del proyecto consiste en crear un nuevo espacio alrededor del Estadio que corresponda con las exigencias propias de un Estadio de fútbol liberándolo de los edificios que lo comprimen para generar un gran espacio diáfano a su alrededor acompañado de un gran parque en el que se ubica el Centro Deportivo que sirve de complemento al Estadio. Este edificio genera un vínculo con el Estadio pero siempre respetando su importancia, de este modo, es la geometría de la piel exterior y la conexión visual que hay entre ambos lo que los conecta. El Centro Deportivo cuenta con un Centro de Alto Rendimiento para deportistas y una piscina y un polideportivo que lo complementan. Por tanto, el proyecto crea un nuevo límite a la ciudad relacionado con potenciar la figura del deporte en uno de los puntos más emblemáticos de la ciudad.

[EN] The Project is located near the Castalia Stadium in Castellón city. This football stadium belongs to CD Castellón, the most representative team in the city. This area is located on the limit of the city and is a point where the city join together, with big infraestructura such as the Ronda Norte and a industrial area. The main objective of the Project is to create a new space around the Stadium that are appropiated for a demands of a football Stadium, freeing it from the buildings that compress it to create a large open space around it with a big park. In this park is located a Sports Center that complements the Stadium. This building creates a link with the Stadium but always respectinc its importance, in this way, it¿s the geometry of the exterior skin and the visual connection between them that connects them. The Sports Center has a High Performance Center for athletes and a swimming pool and sports center that complement it. Therefore, the projectc create a new limit to the city related to promoting the sports figure in one os the most emblematic points of the city.
