CSA-F0114' Análisis constructivo de las termas de Vals de Peter Zumthor.

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo Final de Grado tiene por objeto el estudio del edificio las termas de Vals, obra del arquitecto Peter Zumthor, tanto desde el punto de vista arquitectónico como desde el constructivo. Para el arquitectónico se tendrán fundamentalmente en cuenta el tema de la materialidad, aunque sin olvidar aspectos relacionados con lo que podía considerarse inmaterialidad y que matizan de manera excelente la materia, como son la originalidad creadora del autor o su capacidad de suscitar atmósferas (sensaciones, recuerdos, imágenes). Desde el punto de vista constructivo, se analizarán los sistemas empleados en muros y cubiertas, que quedarán materializados con oportunas axonometrías constructivas.

[EN] The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to study the building of the thermal baths in Vals, a work of the architect Peter Zumthor, both from the architectural point of view and from the construction point of view. Regarding architecture, the theme of materiality will be widely taken into consideration, although the aspects related to what could be considered as immateriality and which qualify the matter* in an excellent way, such as the creative originality of the author or his capacity to arouse atmospheres, sensations, memories and images must not be forgotten. From the constructive point of view, the systems used in walls and roofs will be analysed and the appropriate constructive axonometries will be offered.
