dc.description.abstract [EN] The aim of this project is to investigate the feasibility of a welding process for polyethylene using induction heating. Recently, there has been growing interest in induction heating due to its energy saving aspect. The main advantage is that the heat can be directly generated in the welding area. Additionally, this technique presents a big number of advantages, including its portability, which is of particular interest. es_ES
