dc.description.abstract [EN] The project that is going to be exposed in this document, developed through URJATO, S.L.P., an enterprise that offers consultancy and engineering services regarding aeronautics and architecture, among others, will speak about the design and construction of an instrumental approach procedure for helicopters. The procedure will be designed to be operated on the elevated heliport of the Cruces Hospital, located in Baracaldo (Vizcaya, Spain). The procedure designed presents many peculiarities in relation with the existing conventional approach procedures. The first of them is that the procedure will be based on SBAS – EGNOS. Actually, there is no other approach procedure published in Spain based on that technology, nor in Europe. Up to date, in order to proceed with the design and implementation of approach procedures and other kind of instrumental operations, it was necessary to install firstly some kind of air navigation aids for the installation that wanted to promulgate the procedure. es_ES
