[EN] Ruzafa is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Valencia, its history dates back to the year 800 and with it, its urban fabric. Formerly an independent municipality, it was annexed to the city through the expansion, an urban plan based on orthogonal streets forming regular blocks. The conflict between the Muslim historical plot and the grid of the new extension can be seen in the so-called `Manzana perdida¿, a broken block without filling, with an abandoned interior made up of dividing walls, and rear facades where people park their cars and pour the trash. This TFM intends to solve, through several specific interventions, the problems of the place following a design line that unifies the project as a whole and that can offer the residents of Ruzafa a new meeting point and coexistence within their neighborhood.
