"El relato en la exposición: más allá del cubo blanco"

Abstract

[ES] En el presente trabajo se ha realizado un estudio teórico sobre las exposiciones temáticas y el relato que el comisario construye en estas como elemento cohesionador de la muestra. Se realiza una reflexión sobre qué papel juega esta narrativa en las exposiciones temáticas y cómo se comunica al público mediante su instalación, haciendo hincapié en las posibilidades creativas que esto conlleva para el comisario, tanto desde un punto de vista conceptual como de diseño. Para ello, se realiza una investigación de cómo aparece, evoluciona y se consolida la actual visión del comisariado creativo desde el siglo XX, utilizando como referentes el trabajo de Marcel Duchamp, Alexander Dorner, Harald Szeemann y Hans Ulrich Obrist. Para finalizar, se exponen las conclusiones de todo lo investigado durante la realización de este TFG.

[EN] In this paper we have carried out a theoretical study on thematic exhibitions and the narrative developed by the curator for these as a cohesive element of the presentation. We reflect on the role this narrative plays and how it is communicated to the public through its installation, emphasizing the creative possibilities this implies to the curator both conceptually and creatively. To this effect, we look into how the present-day vision of the creative curator has emerged, evolved and been established since the 20th century, using Marcel Duchamp, Alexander Dorner, Harald Szeemann and Hans Ulrich Obrist¿s work as examples. Finally, we will present our conclusions as the result of all the research and investigation done for this end of degree project.
