A las 4:33. Pintura silente.

Abstract

[ES] El proyecto titulado A las 4:33. Pintura silente, presenta dos series pictóricas diferentes que abordan la noche y el frágil momento de silencio absoluto que sucede justo antes del amanecer, es decir, el momento de conticinio. Este es un silencio posibilitador, entendido como invitación a la reflexión, introspección y contemplación. Mientras en una de las series se captura el pernoctar, el exterior, la intemperie y la oscuridad como velo de la realidad, en la otra se habla del dormir, el interior, las sábanas y el refugio.

En este trabajo se retrata el halo de misterio e incertidumbre que acompaña la noche, así como su carácter frágil y efímero, convirtiendo la sugerente atmósfera nocturna en obra plástica mediante el uso de pasteles y óleos. Para ello se han empleado recursos como la reducción cromática con gran presencia de grises, los encuadres sugerentes y los contrastes.

Cortázar, Omar Calabresse o Bachelard han servido como impulsores conceptuales o literarios, mientras que en su resolución plástica nos ha acompañado De Chirico, Hopper, Nicholas Woods, Juan Cuéllar Boxes, Sophie Calle, Josep Tornero y Alain Urrutia entre otros.

[EN] The project titled At 4:33. Silent painting, presents two different pictorial series that address the night and the fragile moment of absolute silence that occurs just before dawn, that is, the moment of conticinium. This is an enabling silence, understood as an invitation to reflection, introspection and contemplation. While one of the series captures the night, the exterior, the outdoors and darkness as a veil of reality, the other talks about sleeping, the interior, the sheets and the shelter.

In this work, the halo of mystery and uncertainty that accompanies the night is portrayed, as well as its fragile and ephemeral character, turning the suggestive nocturnal atmosphere into a plastic work through the use of pastels and oils. To do this, resources such as color reduction with a large presence of gray, suggestive frames and contrasts have been used.

Cortázar, Omar Calabresse or Bachelard have served as conceptual or literary promoters, while De Chirico, Hopper, Nicholas Woods, Juan Cuéllar Boxes, Sophie Calle, Josep Tornero and Alain Urrutia, among others, have accompanied us in the plastic resolution.
