Mirador sostenible. Una propuesta en torno a los ODS 2030

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo de Final de Grado trata sobre la realización de un proyecto de intervención pública en los Jardines de la Universitat Politècnica de València en el marco de la convocatoria PC_ACTS 2022 del Área Cultural del Vicerrectorado de Arte, Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad. Este proyecto, mediante la práctica artística y la experiencia obtenida en años anteriores, lo hemos materializado en una obra que pone en manifiesto el compromiso que mantiene la Universitat Politècnica de València en torno a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible 2030. La obra que presentamos fue ideada como símbolo del compromiso de la Universitat Politècnica de València con la sostenibilidad. Fue ubicada en la zona ajardinada entre los edificios 7C y 6F, junto al rocódromo. Ha sido construida íntegramente con desechos tanto de piedra natural como artificial. Hemos valorizado, integrado, reutilizado y dado una segunda vida a un recurso existente en forma de residuo inerte. En total hemos integrado aproximadamente 1000kg de residuos.

[EN] The following Final Degree Project talks about a public intervention that was carried-out at the Gardens of the Universitat Politècnica de València around the research call PC_ACTS 2022 of the Cultural Area of the Vice-Rectorate for Art, Science, Technology and Society. To do this, considering the experience gained in previous years, we’ve developed an artistic work that has been materialized based on the main objectives of this call, which highlights the commitment that the Universitat Politècnica de València has around the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. The work that we present was designed as a demonstration of the commitment that the Polytechnic University of Valencia has with sustainability. It has been placed at the garden area between buildings 7C and 6F near the climbing wall. It’s been built entirely with both natural and artificial stone waste. Through the development of this work, we have given a second life to an existing resource in the form of inert waste by the means of revaluating it’s worth, integrating and reusing a total amount of approximately 1000kg of debris.
