Mujeres sin color - Relatos sobre el luto

Abstract

[ES] ¿Mujeres sin color-relatos sobre el luto¿, es un proyecto que nace en memoria de las mujeres del siglo XX, de postguerra y segunda mitad del siglo XX. Mujeres que llevaban el peso de representar el luto. Mujeres que durante años debían vestir de negro y hacer visible el duelo por la muerte de sus allegados, coartándose del festejo, el ocio o incluso de las dinámicas del hogar tan banales como escuchar la radio o ver la televisión. Este proyecto comienza con la documentación a través de las vivencias de esas mujeres que han realizado el rito del luto o han estado cercanas a él en el ámbito del hogar. Con estos testimonios he generado un documental que recoge dichas vivencias. A través de sus testimonios he ido recogiendo documentación fotográfica, entrevistas, y posteriormente he generado todo un imaginario a través de la modificación de estas fotografías, por medio de transferencias e interviniéndolas con pintura, como también representándolas pictóricamente. De esta manera he generado nuevas escenas que representan la vivencia cotidiana de las mujeres que llevaban el luto.

[EN] "Women without colour - stories about mourning" is a project born in memory of the women of the 20th century, post-war and second half of the 20th century. Women who bore the burden of representing mourning. Women who had to wear black and make visible their mourning for the death of their loved ones for years, restricting themselves from celebration, leisure or even from such banal household dynamics as listening to the radio or watching television. This project begins with the documentation of the experiences of those women who have carried out the rite of mourning or have been close to it at home. With these testimonies, I have generated a documentary film that brings together these experiences. Through their testimonies I have been collecting photographic documentation, interviews, and subsequently I have generated a whole imaginary through the modification of these photographs, by means of transfers and intervening them with paint, as well as representing them pictorially. In this way, I have generated new scenes that represent the daily life of the women who mourned.
