Entre la conservación y el turismo: Los Paredones de Regina Turdulorum (Badajoz)

Abstract

[EN] The aim of this article is to investigate the state of conservation of the Roman Theatre of Regina Turdulorum during its history. Therefore, a first part is presented, dedicated to understanding those documents referred to the preservation of this theatre. Then, the criteria for restoration of the different interventions in the theatre are analyzed. In the third and last part, the current situation of the theatre site is presented to examine its compatibility with the Roman ruins.

[ES] Este artículo tiene como objetivo indagar en el estado de conservación del teatro romano de Regina Turdulorum a lo largo de su devenir histórico. Por ello, se presenta una primera parte dedicada a entender aquellos documentos referidos a la preservación de este, sin atender a los restos arqueológicos que aún no estaban excavados. Seguidamente, y una vez que esto se llevó a cabo, se analizan los criterios de restauración de las intervenciones habidas, para, finalmente, exponer la situación actual del recinto teatral.
