Colorful. Desarrollo visual de una película de animación.

Abstract

[ES] El trabajo final de grado consiste en la creación de una serie de escenas fílmicas pertenecientes al proyecto Colorful mediante pintura digital, donde se exploran las emociones universales mediante las claves del desarrollo visual. Se realiza un estudio del concepto de desarrollo visual y el storytelling, así como una aproximación al trabajo de la dirección de arte en el ámbito del medio fílmico. El objetivo del proyecto es trasladar al espectador por un circuito de emociones mediante el empleo del color y la iluminación. Para ello se realiza un diseño de paletas cromáticas y composiciones que se aplican al conjunto de ilustraciones del concept art que componen la serie. Entre los referentes plásticos se encuentran Nathan Fowkes, Tiny Holls, Elena y Olivia Ceballos, Victoria Yin, Faith Ong, Pascal Campion, Airi Pan, Toni Infante y Henry Wong.

[EN] The final degree project consists of the creation of a series of film scenes belonging to the Colorful project through digital painting, where universal emotions are explored through the keys of visual development. A study of the concept of visual development and storytelling is carried out, as well as an approach to the work of art direction in the field of film. The objective of the project is to move the viewer through a circuit of emotions through the use of color and lighting. For this, a design of color palettes and compositions is made that are applied to the set of illustrations of the concept art that make up the series.
