BALENCIAGA. Mutación y metamorfosis de un genio.

Abstract

[EN] This final degree project includes the ideation, design, illustration and development process of the fanzine titled "BALENCIAGA. Mutation and metamorphosis of a genius", addressed to a public who loves the world of fashion. In this publication I intend to approach the enormous production of the haute couture brand founded by the Spanish designer Cristóbal Balenciaga in a quick and didactic way; this journey will span from his initial avant-garde designs up to the present days of the brand led by Demna Gvasalia. I want to make the fanzine an object of play and collection for fashion lovers, providing a different point of view and drawing attention to the value of paper dolls through the illustrations.

[ES] El presente trabajo de final de grado recoge el proceso de ideación, diseño, ilustración y desarrollo del fanzine titulado "BALENCIAGA. Mutación y metamorfosis de un genio", dirigido a un público amante de la moda. A través de esta publicación se pretende abordar de manera rápida y didáctica la enorme producción de la marca de alta costura fundada por el diseñador español Cristóbal Balenciaga; este recorrido abarcará desde sus diseños iniciales de vanguardia hasta la actualidad de la marca dirigida por Demna Gvasalia. A través de las ilustraciones se quiere también dar valor a las figuras de muñecas papel, aportar un punto de vista diferente haciendo del fanzine un elemento de juego y colección.
