Retrato pictórico. Metáforas de la vida frágil

Abstract

[ES] En este trabajo trataremos el problema de la fragilidad de nuestra vida y estudiaremos los conceptos de comunidad y desunión. A través de la pintura, con ayuda de metáforas, crearemos obras en torno a la vida cotidiana de las personas en una ciudad y la fragilidad de aquello que aparenta ser sólido y eterno.

Nuestro objetivo principal es poner de relieve la interacción entre un individuo y la sociedad que lo envuelve durante la paz y la guerra. Otro punto importante es motivar a las personas a disfrutar cada pequeño momento de la vida cuando es posible, porque el mañana no está ni garantizado, ni seguro. Las preguntas más importantes, las respuestas que estábamos buscando: ¿Cómo se puede ser feliz en una ciudad, anticipando el desastre? ¿Cómo se puede sobrevivir en una ciudad sitiada? ¿Cómo una artista puede y cómo decide responder al desafío estando fuera del desastre físicamente, pero totalmente inmerso espiritualmente? ¿Cómo se puede ayudar a la gente a entender, sentir y soportar el uno al otro más profundamente a través del prisma metafórico?

Para ello, hemos realizado una búsqueda de información, profundizando en los distintos elementos especulativos que conforman el presente trabajo. Además del análisis de diferentes fuentes, hemos hecho nuestras propias observaciones y experimentaciones.

El destino de la obra es la celebración de una exposición individual en el centro de la ciudad de Valencia, concretamente en la SALA D'EXPOSICIONS JUNTA MUNICIPAL DE CIUTAT VELLA, en marzo de 2022.

[EN] In this work we will deal with the problem of the fragility of our lives and we will study the concepts of community and disunity. Through painting, with the help of metaphors, we will create works around the daily life of people in a city and the fragility of what appears to be solid and eternal.

Our main objective is to highlight the interaction between an individual and the society that surrounds him during peace and war. Another important point is to motivate people to enjoy every little moment of life when possible, because tomorrow is neither guaranteed nor certain. The most important questions, the answers we were looking for: How can you be happy in a city, anticipating disaster? How can you survive in a besieged city? How can an artist and how does she decide to respond to the challenge by being physically out of the mess, but totally immersed in it spiritually? How can people be helped to understand, feel and bear each other more deeply through the metaphorical prism?

For this, we have carried out a search for information, delving into the different speculative elements that make up this work. In addition to the analysis of different sources, we have made our own observations and experimentations.

The destination of the work is the celebration of an individual exhibition in the center of the city of Valencia, specifically in the SALA D'EXPOSICIONS JUNTA MUNICIPAL DE CIUTAT VELLA, in March 2022.
