Archivo familiar y memoria histórica de un pueblo: El Bonillo entre los años 50 y 70 del siglo XX.

Abstract

[ES] El presente TFM se fundamenta en la indagación del concepto de memoria, partiendo del archivo familiar como vehículo de creación artística. Abordamos esta temática a través de la exploración de diferentes técnicas tomando de referencia la imagen de archivo, satisfaciendo las necesidades de representación y los sentimientos de la artista, ya que el proceso creativo no se concibe sin el impulso y una mirada introspectiva. Todos los elementos visuales recogidos dan pie a una lectura personal, a reflexionar sobre un contexto sociocultural e histórico comprendido entre las décadas de los años 50 y 70 del siglo XX.

La narración y la asimilación de unos acontecimientos concretos son indispensables, pues, resultan cercanos por las aportaciones familiares pero no vividos, al mismo tiempo, también lejanos ante una época anterior. Trabajamos desde la voluntad propia de asimilar, releer e interpretar, recogiendo a su vez, la importancia del testimonio oral.

El eje que sustenta este proyecto es el documento, tanto fotográfico como archivístico; imágenes, álbumes y objetos, entre otros, transformados y plasmados en obras de carácter fundamentalmente gráfico-pictórico, donde el proceso creativo es esencial y del cual van surgiendo otros conocimientos y reflexiones. Estos conceptos y elementos se convierten en una herramienta de contextualización y visualización de la memoria histórica. El trabajo se culmina con la propuesta de un proyecto expositivo que parte desde el concepto de memoria familiar hacia la memoria colectiva y el imaginario rural, indagando en la relación de la tradición y las costumbres de un lugar y una época.

[EN] This TFM is based on the investigation of the concept of memory, starting from the family archive as a vehicle for artistic creation. We approach this theme through the exploration of different techniques taking the archive image as a reference, satisfying the needs of representation and the feelings of the artist, since the creative process is not conceived without the impulse and an introspective look. All the visual elements collected give rise to personal reading, to reflect on a socio-cultural and historical context between the decades of the 50s and 70s of the 20th century.

The narration and the assimilation of some specific events are essential since they are close by family contributions but not lived, at the same time, also distant before an earlier time. We work from our own will to assimilate, reread and interpret, collecting in turn, the importance of oral testimony.

The axis that sustains this project is the document, both photographic and archival; images, albums, and objects, among others, are transformed and embodied in works of a fundamentally graphic-pictorial nature, where the creative process is essential and from which other knowledge and reflections emerge. These concepts and elements become a tool for contextualizing and visualizing historical memory. The work culminates with the proposal of an exhibition project that starts from the concept of family memory towards collective memory and the rural imaginary, investigating the relationship between tradition and customs of a place and a time.
