Repensar el objeto. La utilización del objeto cotidiano para el hecho artístico

Abstract

[ES] El presente Trabajo Final de Máster se centra en el objeto cotidiano como materia prima y soporte de expresión artística.

Mediante el estudio de las características y propiedades de lo creativo queremos destapar aquellos rasgos que de alguna manera imprimen cierto halo artístico al objeto cotidiano. Estos rasgos ni son externos ni le son intrínsecos, aunque sí se pueden vislumbrar en el interior de los objetos y, a la vez, son capaces de detonar la sensibilidad en el artista y en el espectador. Gracias a una mirada diferente, a una actitud creativa, estos objetos nos permiten trabajar nuevos contenidos, un nuevo lenguaje que nos ayude a suplantar la rutina diaria para la que fueron creados. Se pretende repensar otras variables en estos objetos que nos permita reescribir en ellos, cual palimpsesto, nuevas lecturas, conceptos basados en el proceso, en el ensayo-error, en el día a día y que acercan el arte a la vida.

En este proyecto no vamos a buscar ni el significado ni el mensaje de la obra artística, indagaremos sólo aquello, o aquellos factores que nos ayuden a crear y recrear propuestas artísticas donde artistas y espectadores serán los partícipes del proceso creativo. Propuestas que, con una predisposición activa, transformarán el objeto cotidiano y común en objeto artístico.

[EN] This Master's Final Project focuses on the everyday object as raw material and support for artistic expression.

Through the study of the characteristics and properties of the creative, we want to uncover those features that in some way imprint a certain artistic halo on the everyday object. These traits are neither external nor intrinsic to them, although they can be glimpsed inside the objects and, at the same time, they are able to trigger sensitivity in the artist and in the viewer. Thanks to a different look, a creative attitude, these objects allow us to work with new content, a new language that helps us replace the daily routine for which they were produced.

It is intended to highlight and investigate other variables in these objects that allow us to rewrite in them, such us palimpsest, new readings, concepts based on the process, on experimentation, on a day-to-day and that bring art closer to life.

In this project we are not going to look for the meaning or the message of the artistic work, in this project we will investigate only that, or those factors that help us create and recreate artistic proposals where artists and viewers will be the participants in the creative process. Proposals that, with an active predisposition, will transform the everyday and common object into an artistic object.
