Diseño de un conjunto de muebles modular y configurable fabricado en chapa metálica

Abstract

[ES] Este Trabajo Fin de Grado (TFG) tiene por objetivo el diseño de una colección de muebles modular, fabricados en chapa metálica. Actualmente, la utilización de este material se limita al mobiliario de oficina e industria, no siendo tan representativo en el sector del mueble de hogar, por lo que se plantea el diseño y desarrollo de una colección de muebles de uso doméstico. De este modo, la colección incluirá las prestaciones características del material como son robustez, durabilidad, facilidad de producción y coste reducido, entre otros. Este diseño permitirá el aprovechamiento de espacios reducidos, aumentando las prestaciones de cada producto mediante su combinación en soluciones funcionales y prácticas. Este trabajo incluye las diferentes fases del proceso de diseño y desarrollo de productos, desde la investigación inicial, definición de objetivos y requerimientos, diseño conceptual y diseño de detalle, con el correspondiente desarrollo de sus contenidos.

[EN] The aim of this Final Degree Project (TFG) is the design of a modular furniture collection, made of sheet metal. Currently, the use of this material is limited to office and industrial furniture, not being so representative in the home furniture sector, so the design and development of a collection of furniture for domestic use is proposed. Thus, the collection will include the features of the material such as robustness, durability, ease of production and reduced cost, among others. This design will allow the use of reduced spaces, increasing the performance of each product by combining them in functional and practical solutions. This work includes the different stages of the product design and development process, from initial research, definition of objectives and requirements, conceptual design and detailed design, with the corresponding development of its contents.
